Design that
doesn’t play
it safe
We’re a boutique interior architecture and design studio.
Residential, commercial, retail, hospitality: we work across all of it, with a healthy disregard for the obvious and a genuine obsession with getting the details right.
Our approach is bold, considered and a little unexpected. We work closely with clients to understand what they actually need, not just what they think they want. We design spaces that are beautifully crafted, perfectly tailored, and quietly impossible to forget. We don’t do average. Life’s too short and walls are too permanent.
We’re also - and this is the part people don’t expect - extremely practical. On time, on budget, and relentlessly focused on outcomes that are nothing short of exceptional.

Left of centre.
Right every time.
Bold ideas, brilliantly delivered. That’s the short version. The longer version involves getting properly under the skin of what you need, what you love, and what you’d never admit to your architect, then designing something that exceeds all of it. We don’t settle for exceptional outcomes. We insist on them.
How we can help
› Briefing, research & strategy (figuring out what you actually need)
› Co-design and engagement (the bit where we listen more than we talk)
› Schematic design and feasibility planning (making sure the dream is doable)
› Concept design (where things start getting exciting)
› Design development (where things start getting real)
› Design documentation (the bit that makes everything else work)
› Execution and design delivery (seeing it through to the end, without exception)

Our people are awesome. We said it.
Leftfield specialises in interior architecture, but we play well with others. Got an architect, builder or industry professional you already love? Great, we’ll slot right in.
Need a recommendation? We have amazing and trusted partners who meet our standards, which, fair warning, are quite high.
Either way, you get a seamless, integrated service and a brilliant team.

Leftfield’s work hasn’t gone unnoticed, we’ve been featured in design publications and recognised in industry awards by the kinds of people who obsess over design at 2am. We’re not ones to brag (well, maybe just a little), but when the design community takes notice, we figure it’s worth mentioning!
